Ledgent Accounting & Finance, a leading staffing and consulting firm specializing in accounting and finance talent, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our client's growing team in the Tampa area. $75,000 - $90,000

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Analyze financial results and provide insights to leadership
• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
• Support external audits and liaise with auditors
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
• Mentor junior accounting staff as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
• Experience with ERP systems (such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar)
• CPA or CPA-track preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment
